Joan M. McGrath, of Akron Ohio, formerly of Woburn, died on Sunday September 2, 2007. She was 75 years of age.
Joan was a resident of Woburn for 5 years and retired from the Court System for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1992 after 28 years of service. Joan was a member of St. Barbara Church in Woburn and active in the Cursillo Movement, particularly at St. Basil's in Methuen.
Joan was the beloved sister of Leonard Schnetzer Jr. and his wife Gloria of Akron, OH.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Joseph Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING on Friday from 7:30am-8:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joan's life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. at 9am. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Rindge N.H.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
