Joan M. (Breugelman) Hughes - Prekop of Reading, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House. She was 74 years of age.
Born in Boston, Joan was the loving daughter of the late Mary F. (Linskey) and Louis A. Breugelman.
Joan was a warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late William J. Hughes Jr. and Frank Prekop. She was the devoted mother of William J. Hughes III of Reading and Tracey A. Pastrana and her husband Rick of AZ. She was the cherished grandmother of Catherine "Katie" Hughes. Joan was the loving sister of Lois A. Halligan and her husband John of FL. She was the dear and special friend of Bob Castine of Epping, NH. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Joan's life on Saturday at 10am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. READING.
