Joanne M. (Brady) Pica

Joanne M. (Brady) Pica of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  She is 83 years of age.

Born on Friday, June 9, 1939 in Stoneham, Joanne is a loving daughter of the late Daniel Brady and Dorothy (Hayden) Brady.  Joanne is a warm, kind, loyal and gentle daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Joanne was born and raised in Stoneham.  She graduated from Stoneham High School and later went to work as a secretary for Precision Metal Products in Stoneham for more than 20 years.  Joanne married the love of her life, her beloved late husband Chester in 1960 and lived in her home for more than 57 years.  She was a longtime bowler in the Robin Hood League of Stoneham & Wakefield and she also enjoyed ball room dancing.

Joanne is the devoted mother of William G. Pica and his wife Donna and James C. Pica and his wife Laura.  She is the cherished grandmother of Danielle Sepe and her husband Phil, Nicholas Pica and his wife Taylor, Eric Pica and Elizabeth Pica.  The doting great grandmother of Kenley, Remi and Boden, Joanne is the dear sister of Melvin and his wife Doreen and the late Stanley, Eugene, David and Dianne.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Joanne’s Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, March 4^th at 1pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Joanne’s Family for visiting hours prior to the Service from 11am – 1pm.  Parking attendants and elevator available.  Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
