Joanne Sardone

Joanne Sardone, of Reading, formerly of Malden, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at home with her family by her side.

Joanne was a gentle and beautiful soul who danced through life with a zeal for adventure. She was a lover of travel and enjoyed making lasting connections with all of whom she meet along life's journey.   By her loved one's and all who new her, Joanne will be remember in death as she was in life, a ray of light, laughter and unwavering optimism.  Though the veil of grief casts a darkness, Joanne's will continue to illuminates the hearts of all she touched along the way.

Joanne is the beloved daughter of the late Francis C. and Catherine (Roach) Sardone. She is the cherished sister of Mary Ann Sardone, Deborah A. Sousa and the late Francis N. Sardone and Jean Sardone. Aunt of Derek, Kristen, Amanda and the late Francis N. Jr.  Great aunt of Savannah Sardone.

Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING on Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joanne's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Monday November 20, 2023 from 3 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
