John L. Angelosanto

March 3, 1921 — October 30, 2008

John L. Angelosanto of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at his home in Stoneham. He was 87 years of age.



John was born in Stoneham and was a life long resident. He was the loving son of the late Maria (Valenti) Angelosanto and Luigi Angelosanto. John was a warm and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He had a love for his family that was unparallel; they were first and foremost in his life. He will be sadly missed.



During WWII, John proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Army.



John worked at Eastern Airlines as a Aircraft Mechanic for 39 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Marconi Club. John was an avid gardner.



Devoted father of Joan M. Angelosanto, James J. Angelosanto, Janet C. Angelosanto all of Stoneham, John P. Angelosanto and his wife Janet A. of North Attleboro and the late Jean E. Angelosanto. Cherished grandfather of Daniel J. and Gina C. Dear brother of Ernest and the late Frank and Angelo Angelosanto. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating John's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday from 3-7 pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Employee Eastern Airlines. Please honor John with donations to Angelosanto Scholarship Fund, Stoneham Savings Bank, 359 Main Street, Stoneham, MA 02180 or St. Patrick Building Fund, 9 Pomeworth Street, Stoneham, MA 02180.
