John P. Chiulli

John P. Chiulli of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Winchester Hospital. He was 86 years of age.
Born in Malden on June 22, 1930, John was the loving son of the late Pompilio Chiulli and Bridget (Fucci) Chiulli. John was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to have known him.
John loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. They were his whole world. John was co-owner of family owned and operated Pomp's Cleansers. During the Korean Conflict, John proudly defended our freedom by serving as an Air Cadet with the United States Air Force. He retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Administrator after 27 years of service. John was a member of the Sons of Italy North Middlesex Mixed Lodge and the Malden Lions Club.
John was the beloved husband for 60 years of Theresa (Pagliccia) Chiulli. He was the devoted father of Joanne Chiulli Kenworthy and her husband Eric and Marianne Chiulli Fleckner and her husband Brett. The cherished grandfather of Colby Alleyn Fleckner and Gina Chiulli Kenworthy, John was the dear brother of Marie Angelo and her late husband Louis and the late Alfonse Chiulli and his late wife Rita. He was the caring brother – in - law of Mary DiLuca, Doris Johnson, Jeannette Coombs, Eleanor Roach and Anthony Pagliccia. John was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating John's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, August 10th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. STONEHAM. Please go directly to church.
