John F. Holland

John F. Holland of North Andover passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.  He is 58 years of age.

Born on Monday, September 20, 1965 in Cambridge, John is the beloved son of Francis Holland and the late Belvia (Dixon) Holland.  John is a kind, warm & loyal son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

John lived his life to the fullest, but friends and family were his world, who he cherished most. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh, infectious smile, and loud personality. He was an avid member of the American Legion in Middleton. During the warmer weather, he spent his time hiking mountains and an endless amount of hours at the beach. John was a diligent excavator operator for Local 4 Union for over 25 years. John's proudest projects and largest demolitions took place in the city of Boston, one being the old Boston Garden.  John was a graduate of Northeast Metro Tech in Wakefield MA, class of 1984. He will be deeply missed by all.

John is the cherished brother of Philip Holland and his wife Kathryn, Ed Holland and the late Marie Rizzo and her surviving husband Joe Rizzo.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with John's Family on Wednesday, January 24th from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.  A Prayer Service will be held at 8pm.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.
