John J. Kelley

John J. Kelley, of Stoneham, passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2024. He was 77 years of age.

John was raised in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High School. Later in life John worked hard to become a Master Electrician, and spent most of his career working for the railroad until retirement. John loved living, and always had a positive adage for every situation. He was also a man of strong faith. One of his greatest joys in life was his boys and his granddaughters. He was so proud of his sons! John enjoyed staying active; he loved to jog and spend time at the gym, but his true passion was Golf. He had the gift to gab, and genuinely enjoyed talking with others. To know John, was to love him. He was special to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

John is the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Crowley) Kelley. He is the cherished father of Michael Kelley and his wife Sarah and Brian Kelley and his wife Alyssa. Loving grandfather of Hannah and Hayden Kelley. Dear brother of the late Mary Chadwick and Michael Kelley. John was preceded in death by his first wife, and mother of his boys, Susan (Mackinnon) Kelley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral Service Celebrating John's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday April 20th, 2024 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM at 11 am. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday April 19th, 2024 from 3 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
