Born on Thursday, October 21st, 1943 in Stoneham, Jack is the loving son of the late John L. Dinan and Marion (Colby) Dinan. Jack is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.

He spent much of his childhood with his beloved grandparents, Mildred and John McDonald, who played an important and lasting role in his life. He graduated from Stoneham High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a long and respected career as an auto body mechanic, where he was known for his exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to his work.

A devoted member of the Stoneham/Woburn Elks, he treasured the friendships and camaraderie he found through the organization and enjoyed being involved in his community. He was an avid New England sports fan who faithfully cheered on the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins, and he also enjoyed following NASCAR.

Known for his quiet nature and wonderfully dry sense of humor, he had a gift for making those around him smile with a perfectly timed comment. He was a man of integrity, strong work ethic, and unwavering loyalty. Above all, he cherished his family and took great pride in being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered with deep love for his kindness, humility, gentle spirit, and the many cherished memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him.

The cherished grandfather of Noah Dinan, Jack is the dear brother of Carolyn Lewis and her late husband Paul, Patrick Dinan and his wife Gretchen, Daniel Dinan and his wife Terry and the late Arthur Dinan and the late Michael Dinan.
