John J. "Jack" Holland Jr.

John J. “Jack” Holland Jr. of Reading, formerly of Somerville (Class of ’54 SHS) passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at age 89.  He is the loving husband of Josephine (Auditore) Holland.  Jack is the beloved father of John J. Holland III and Michael Holland.  The dear brother of Elaine (Holland) Noone and her late husband George and Karen (Holland) Antetomaso and her husband Raymond, Jack is the devoted brother-in-law of Ann Marie Quinn and the loving son of the late John and Mildred (Spina) Holland.

Jack is a retired electrician from MIT & a retired Inspector of Wires for Town of Reading.  During the Korean War, Jack proudly served our country as a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Jack’s Family on Saturday, May 16th from 9am – 11am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Service Celebrating Jack’s Eternal Life will be held at 11am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
