John F. "Jack" Kilbride

John F. Kilbride (Jack), 53, beloved husband of Dava Feltch Kilbride, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 3rd. Born in Waltham, he is the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Ruth McGrady) Kilbride.

Jack grew up in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School. Following high school, Jack earned his Associates Degree from the Franklin Technical Institute. A master electrician by trade, Jack worked for 25 years at Northeastern University. In addition to his wife of 19 years, Dava, he is survived by his daughter, Emma Christie Kilbride; four brothers: Stephen Kilbride and his wife Charlotte of Atlanta, Georgia; Thomas Kilbride and his wife Kathleen of Reading; Paul Kilbride and his wife Wenley of Reading; and Robert Kilbride of Arlington; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jack was an avid golfer and a dedicated sports fan. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. Jack's greatest joy came from his daughter Emma and the time they spent together. Jack brought his daughter horseback riding every week and enjoyed attending her many school events. He will truly be missed by his loving family and his many friends.

Funeral services will be held privately.
