John R. Luti

John R. Luti of Moultonborough, New Hampshire, formerly of Stoneham passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.  He is 88 years of age.

Born on Thursday, August 30, 1934 in Boston, John is the loving son of the late Jack Luti and Anna (Barletta) Luti.  John is a warm, gentle & kind son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

John grew up in the Beachmont section of Revere.  He raised his family in Stoneham for 36 years before retiring to Moultonborough.  He was a Vice Commander of the Auxiliary Coast Guard.  A consummate family man, John loved going out for dinner and his Sunday outings.  He loved reading, listening to music and watching all old western movies.  A jack of all trades, John loved boats & antique cars.  He enjoyed taking rides in his convertible T-Bird and in his later years, he enjoyed working on his’51 Crown Vic.  John was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins & New England Patriots.

John is the beloved husband of the late Rita (Burrows) Luti.  He is the devoted father of Debra Lee, Susan Donovan, Donna Spellman, Lynn Schofield, John Luti, Richard Luti and Karen Rhuda.  The cherished grandfather of 16, John is the doting great grandfather of 10.  He is the dear brother of the late Louis Luti.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM on Tuesday, July 11^th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating John’s Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with John’s Family on Monday, July 10^th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
