McElfresh, John – of Lawrence. Beloved husband of Maryann (Intonti). Loving father of Emily Black of CA and Khaki Paquette and her husband Dan of Amesbury. Son of Sally O'Hara and her husband John of CT and the late John A. McElfresh. Brother of Doug McElfresh and his wife Kathy of NC, Sandy McElfresh and his wife Yvonne of NC and Sally Nelson and her husband David of OH. Adoring grandfather of Lucy and Elliot. Brother in law of Jeanne Intonti-Ferris of Reading and Steve Intonti and his wife Nina of Chelmsford.

In his free time John loved traveling with his wife, collecting fine wine and sharing his love for all types of music with others. John was never a football fan until he met Maryann, who quickly showed him the joy of getting together with friends and family to watch the Patriots. John and Maryann watched every Patriots game together.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the John's family on Friday, June 21st from the hours of 5:30 -7:30pm in the Funeral Home.  A brief memorial service will begin at 7:30pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in John's name to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Waltham MA 02451.
