John J. McInerney

John J. McInerney of Stoneham passed away on May 3, 2015 at age 85.

John was the beloved son of the late Cecelia McInerney. He was the brother of Mary J. Gunning and her husband James. John was the uncle of Denise Frost and her husband Jim, Eileen Picazio and her husband Peter, James Gunning and his wife Ingrid, Thomas Gunning and his wife Delia, David Gunning and the late Susan Gunning. John was the great uncle of 8.

John was a devoted employee of 54 years at the Department of Housing and Urban Development from which he retired at age 81. He served in US Army from 1952-1954 and was a graduate of Northeastern University class of 1959.

A Funeral Service Celebrating John's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00am in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 10-11:00am in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
