John Michael "John" O'Donnell of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2019. He was 50 years of age.
Born on May 21, 1969 in Melrose, John is the adored and loved son of Donna Paradiso and John O'Donnell and his wife Patsy. John is a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
John grew up in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School in the class of 1988. He loved cars, trucks and motorcycles. He raced motorcycles competitively in New Hampshire for 10 years. In 2002, John met the love of his life, Rachael at GBM and they got married in 2008. He absolutely loved his family. John could always be found at any of his kid's sports games cheering them on as their number 1 fan. He was a proud partner of his family business, O'Donnell Masonry.
John is the beloved husband for 11 years of Rachael (Cove) O'Donnell. He is the devoted father and best friend of Haley Cove and her boyfriend Tyler, John Michael O'Donnell II and Ellie O'Donnell. John is the dear brother of Richard O'Donnell and his girlfriend Luzmin Fernandez. He is the cherished grandfather of his future granddaughter. John is the doting uncle of Curtis O'Donnell, Katherine O'Donnell and Joseph Voto. He is the caring son in law of Robert and Lorraine Cove and the brother in law of Heather O'Donnell.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating John's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Friday, September 27th from 3-7pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery Stoneham.
