John Pellegrino

April 7, 1930 — December 15, 2012

John Pellegrino, Jr., of Stoneham, formerly of Malden, died suddenly December 15, 2012. He was 82 years of age.



John was a warm and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.



John proudly served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.



John was the beloved husband and best friend of Denise Healy. He was the devoted father of Linda Callahan, Andrea Pellegrino, Pattie Smith, Jo-Ann Pellegrino R.N., John Pellegrino MPD and Michael Pellegrino MPD. John was the proud Papa of Anthony and Daniel Callahan, Emily Chiarenza, Alex Sullivan, Megan and Scott Reed, Jennifer and Janelle Perillo, Gianna, Ava and Dominic Pellegrino, Joseph, Anthony, Michael and Isabella Pellegrino. He was the great grandfather of Anthony, Lia, Aria, Chase and Abigail. John was the cherished brother of Mary Morrison, Charles Pellegrino and Frances Ciavarro. He is survived by his former wife Ann Tropeano and his Godson Kenneth Morrison. John is also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews and good friends.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating John's Eternal Life in Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 11am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Woburn/Winchester.
