John Joseph Pina

Just 4 days shy of his 79th birthday, John J. "Johnny" Pina lost his valiant fight with his body while realizing a lifelong dream of traveling to Hawaii with his beloved wife of 52 years, Margie (DeRosa), his son John, his daughter Laura Walker and his treasured granddaughters Katherine and Abby Walker. John was the brother of Louis and his wife Terry, Esther, Irene and the late Rose Bell and her twin sister Jean. He was the son of the late Louis Pina and Gertrude (Vasello) Pina. John was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, June 23rd at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating John's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, June 22nd from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
