John A. Rainone, III, of Reading, passed away on December 6, 2015 at age 70. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
John is a graduate of Matignon High School, class of 1964, where he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. He then attended Boston College and graduated with the class of 1968 where he earned his C.P.A. John proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a licensed electrician and worked as a business and facility manager at Raytheon for 40 years. John enjoyed landscaping and was a member of the Reading Rifle Range Association. He loved his family and his grandchildren and loved going to their sporting events and dance recitals.
John is the beloved husband of Rosemary (Bizzarro) Rainone for 46 years. He is the devoted father of Mark Rainone and his wife Heather, Kim Turco and her husband Jon and Eric Rainone and his wife Jill. John is the cherished grandfather of Cassandra, Michael, Alexandra and Isabella. He is the loving son of the late John and Irene (Mirro) Rainone. John is the dear brother of Sandra LoRusso and her husband Vincent, Corinne Rainone, Gracie Coppola and her husband Gabriele, Renee Martins and her husband Paul, Jimmy Rainone and the late Helen Barry and her surviving husband Dennis. He is the brother-in-law of Linda Belliveau and her husband Al. John is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. US Army Veteran.
Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Friday, December 11th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating John's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, December 10th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Charles Lawn Memorial Park, Reading.
