John N. Timmerman

October 13, 1915 — June 24, 2002

John Timmerman of Stoneham passed away on Monday June 24, 2002 at the Winchester Nursing Center, Winchester. He was 86 years of age.

Born in Boston, Mr. Timmerman was a resident of Stoneham for 52 years. He was a machinist retiring from Polaroid Corporation. John was an active member of St. Patrick's Church. He was Past President of St. Patrick's Holy Name Society, a member of the Knights of Columbus Stoneham Council # 489, and a member of Polaroid Retiree Association. He served as an Usher, Eucharistic Minister, the Youth Group and a member of St. Patrick's Parish Council.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.

John was the beloved husband of Magdalen ( Volk) Timmerman. He was the cherished father of Joan Tarbassian Timmerman of New Hampshire, Fr. Gerard Timmerman, S.M., Paul Timmerman of Florida, Claire Timmerman Marotta of Rockport Karen Guthro of Maryland and loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Tuesday 4-6 & 7- p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Wednesday June 26th 11 a.m. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of John may be made to St. Patrick's Building Fund 9 Pomeworth St. Stoneham, MA. 02108 or to The Marist Fathers of Boston Isabella Street Boston.
