Jose M. "Pancho" Candelario of Reading passed away on Monday, January 12, 2004 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester. He was 58 years of age.
Born in Puerto Rico, Jose was the son of Anna Simmons. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
Jose was a longtime resident of Reading. He was a dedicated book shipper for Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company in Burlington for many years.
Jose was the beloved husband of Elaine (Keene) Candelario. He was the devoted father of Jose Tucker. Jose was the dear brother of Jose A. Candelario, Benito Candelario, Louis Candelario, Gregory Candelario, Jesus M. Candelario, Carmen Candelario, Norma Candelario, Anna Candelario, Bernardo Candelario and John Simmons. Jose was the close friend of Edwin Vega.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Jose's life will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1pm in the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING with Fr. Paul Manning officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend one hour of visitation prior to the service, 12-1pm. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
