Jose Gomes Granito, of Stoneham, formerly of Venezuela, passed away on January 16, 2007 at his home. He was 80 years old.
Born in Funchal, Portugal, Jose was a resident of Stoneham for five years. He enjoyed gardening very much. He loved his family, his neighbors and his three dogs Andy, Bailey, and Casey.
Jose was the beloved husband of 49 years to Maria Bernardete Cro. He was the loving father of Jose A. Cro Granito of Stoneham. He was the cherished uncle of Marylena Fernandes Cro of Venezuela. Jose was the dear brother of Martinho of Venezuela, Martinha, Maria, and Conceicao of Portugal.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Jose's Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday from 5-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
