Joseph F. Frazzica

Joseph F. Frazzica of Lynnfield passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.  He is 85 years of age.

Born on Saturday, December 17, 1938 in Boston, Joseph is the loving son of the late Giuseppe Frazzica and Josephine (Barbera) Frazzica.  Joseph is a warm, kind & loyal son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

First and foremost, Joe was a family man.  It was most important to him to provide for his family and make sure everyone was loved and taken care of.  He always loved it when all his family and friends would come over to eat and everyone was all together filling the house with laughter and love, that is what made him the happiest.

Joe loved to cook, you could always find him in his kitchen preparing something new, an original recipe of his or his signature cookies and biscotti. Either way everything he made was exceptionally terrific and something that he could share with his family, friends and neighbors.  He loved making people happy by having them try anything he created.

Joe found great success in the meat industry.  He opened his first meat store, The Butcher Block, Inc in Peabody, then moved to Commercial Street in the North End and then ending in the New Boston Food Market in South Boston.  Joe always thinking ahead and being before his time was one of the first to start making marinated and prepared food along with his incredible sausages.  You couldn't buy a sausage at the feast or a sausage cart that wasn't made from The Butcher Block, Inc.

Joseph is the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Carvotta) Frazzica.  He is the devoted father of Diane Chiavelli and her husband Jon Michael and the late Marisa Courtois.  The cherished grandfather of Nicole Courtois and her fiance' Brad Lumb, Joseph is the dear brother of Santina Faro and Frank Frazzica.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Joseph's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 11am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Joseph's Family prior to the Service beginning at 9am.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
