Joseph Gargano

Joseph Gargano, of Reading, formerly of East Cambridge and Somerville, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with his family by his side. He was 60 years of age.

Born in Cambridge, Joseph was the cherished son of the late Angelo and Elvira (Mutascio) Gargano.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Debra (Luongo) Gargano. He was the devoted father of Joseph and Chris Gargano and Andrea McLauchlan and her husband Andrew. He was the loving grandfather of Liam Joseph McLauchlan. Dear brother of Angela Sullivan, Susan Gargano, Ann Jones and her husband Jack, Janice Otis and the late Michael Gargano and his surviving wife Angel. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joseph's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Interment Woodend Cemetery, Reading.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday 3-7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance available.
