Joseph V. Micalizzi of Reading passed away on Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at Winchester Hospital. He was 78 years of age.
Born in Malden, Joseph was a resident of Reading for 46 years. He was the son of the late Joseph Micalizzi and Maria (Bonacorso) Micalizzi. Joseph was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.
Joseph was a dedicated Architectural Draftsman for National Medical Care for many years. He was devoted to his family. Joseph was a member of Lifestream and the R.C. Fliers.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Ann L. (Doyle) Micalizzi. He was the devoted father of Daniel J. Micalizzi, Mark S. Micalizzi and Eileen A. Fedorchuk, all of Billerica, Patricia A. Shapiro of Waterboro, Maine and the late Maria Micalizzi. He was the cherished grandfather of 13 and the dear brother of Anthony Micalizzi, Frank Micalizzi, Mary Karnilla. Joseph was also predeceased by 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Joseph's life held in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
