Quilty, Joseph M. Sr.-Of Reading, Nov. 9th. Beloved husband of Patricia (Mari). Loving father of Theresa Mello and her husband Stephen of Wilmington, Joseph Jr. and his wife Jodi of Tewksbury and Matthew Quilty and his wife Theresa of Wilmington.  Son of the late Martin T. Quilty and Jenny Cascio Jones. Son-in-law of the late Florence Mazzola. Beloved son-in-law of the late Arthur Mari and his wife Aurora of West Dennis. Stepson of the late Walter E. Jones.  Adoring grandfather of Jacqueline, Ernest, Renee and David Mello; Joseph III, Jeffrey, James, Thomas and Maria Quilty. Joe is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are most respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading on Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 10:30am. Visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28) North Reading, at Reading line, on Monday 3-7pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Joe was an Iron Worker since 1956, Little League, Pop Warner and Senior League Coach. Former Business agent of Iron Workers Local 7. Former President of the Boston Building Trades. Retired General Vice President of the Iron Workers International and President Emeritus of the Iron Workers District Council of New England. All that knew and loved Joe will miss him dearly .
