Joseph Riccardelli

Joseph "Joe" Riccardelli of Stoneham passed away on his birthday, June 28, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was 81 years of age.

Born on June 28, 1939 in Somerville, Joe is the loving son of the late Louis Riccardelli and Mary (Capobianco) Riccardelli. Joe is a warm, kind and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Joe is the proud owner of Middlesex Floor & Wall in Stoneham. He was a genuinely happy guy who loved spending time with family and friends. Joe proudly defended our freedom by serving for six years in the Army National Guard achieving the rank of E5 before being honorably discharged.

Joe is the beloved husband of Anne (Marotta) Riccardelli. He is the devoted father and best friend of Joseph L. "Rick" Riccardelli and Karen Larivee and her husband Jeff. The cherished papa of Kiera, Gianna, Joey & Emily, Joe is the dear brother of George Riccardelli and the late Florence Cicatelli and her late husband Martin. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Joe's family on Wednesday, July 1st from 9am – 1pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM before traveling to Lindenwood Cemetery for his burial with Military Honors. Parking attendants and elevator available. Face coverings must be worn and guests are required to follow safe social distancing guidelines.
