Joseph William Warren

Joseph William "Chick" Warren, of Andover, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Monday, March 25th, 2019, surrounded by his family, at the age of 90.

Born in Bristol, R.I. on March 15, 1929 to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Robinson) Warren. Joseph enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 17 and proudly served his country. He is a friend of Bill W. for 50 years and was employed for the city of Boston as a postal worker for 30 years.

Beloved husband of Roseann (DiBilio) Warren. Devoted father of Alicia Hayes and her husband John, Joseph W. Warren, Jr., Peter Warren and his fiancé Joanne O'Grady, John Warren and Luke Warren and his wife Nancy Soohoo. Cherished grandfather of John Hayes and his wife Sarah, Sarah Toomey and her husband Sean, Michael Warren, Celia Warren and Henry Warren and cherished great grandfather of Hannah and Colin Toomey and Josephine and Emilia Hayes. Loving brother of Judith Sikorski. Brother-in-law of Jack and Nanette Ackerly. Devoted friend of Jane Clark and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Jack Warren and William Warren and his sisters Patricia Bergen and Dorothy Warren.

Friends and family are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Joseph's family at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28) STONEHAM on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 from 9am-12pm.

Burial will be held privately. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
