Josephine (Morales) Giannone, of Stoneham, passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at home with her family by her side. She was 96 years old.
Born in Boston, Josephine was the loving daughter of the late Salvatore and Sadie (Sapienza) Morales both of Italy.
Josephine worked as a seamstress at The House of Bianchi in Boston for 32 years. After her retirement, she brought her love of sewing home with her where she continued to design and create clothing. In addition to sewing and knitting, she loved to cook for her family. Josephine was always happiest when her family and friends were together on Sundays where she would greet each person with a smile. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Josephine was the loving wife of the late George Giannone. She was the devoted mother of Grace Bourgeois and Sal Giannone. She was the cherished grandmother of Frank Bourgeois and his wife Lisa, Michelle Salvato and her husband Danny, Jessica and Michael Giannone. She was the great grandmother of Marisa, Bianca, Hailey, Erica, and Danny.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. STONEHAM (RT28) Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Josephine's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Internment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday from 3-6pm. Parking attendants will be available.
