Joyce E. Hosford

Joyce E. Hosford, of Malden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 1st, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and gentle kindness. Though she never had children of her own, she was like a second mother to her beloved niece and nephews — the children of her twin sister, Jean — who cherished her deeply.

Joyce had a lifelong love for dogs and a sweet tooth that could never resist a slice of cake or a brownie. She talked numerous times a day to her twin sister Jean. But above all, she loved staying connected to her family. Nothing brought her more joy than hearing about her grand nieces and nephew. She always listened with pride and joy.

Joyce is the beloved daughter of the late William and Marion (Smith) Hosford. She is the loving sister of the late Clair Colella and her late husband Guy and the late Jean Stoddard and her surviving husband Ralph. Dear aunt of Bruce Stoddard, Pamela Gibbons and her husband Paul, Glen Stoddard, Paul Stoddard and his wife Lianne and Craig Stoddard. Great aunt of Allison and Sarah Gibbons, Madeline, Gryffin and Chloe Stoddard. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
