Julia Capuano

Julia (Bruno) Capuano of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Winchester Hospital. She was 87 years of age.



Born in Avellino, Italy, Julia was the daughter of the late Emma (Capace) Bruno and Achille Bruno.



Julia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all. Julia was a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at St. Patrick Church, Stoneham. She also attended Mass every day.



Julia was the Beloved wife of Romeo M. Capuano. She was the devoted mother of Nicholas "Nick" A. Capuano and his wife Cathy, Francis A. Capuano, Sr. and his wife Dianne and the late Julie E. Aten. Julia was the cherished grandmother of Paul and Michael Aten, Julie Bellas, Nicholas, Francis, Jr. Maria, Christine, Joseph, and Anthony Capuano. Cherished great grandmother of Frankie, Michael, Taylor and Ashley Aten, Eleni, Marina and Alexander Bellas. She is also survived by three sisters in Italy and by many loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Julia's Life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants will be available.



Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
