Julie West of Hampstead, previously of Topsfield and Malden, passed away peacefully February 10, 2024, embraced with love. She was the daughter of Edward and Evelyn (Lundin) Foley of Woburn.
Julie graduated from Woburn High School and worked in advertising, eventually owned her own advertising agency, Media Dynamics. Julie, a gifted artist, designed every ad by hand. After retiring from advertising, she moved to Topsfield and created a little farm with goats, chickens, geese, a dancing turkey, a pig and a menagerie of beloved dogs and cats. She grew vegetable gardens spending time behind a canvas with her oil paints, as well as creating beautiful unique organic artworks. She was well known in the Topsfield Fair world, serving on the board, and winning many blue ribbons and other awards for her artwork, vegetables, and flowers.
Julie was survived by three daughters: Kimberly (Daniel) Norton, Evy (Thomas) Hunt and Jennifer West. She was Nana to her six granddaughters: Heather, Stephanie, Holly, Megan, Laura and April, her foster daughter, Nicole Anderson, her grandson in laws, Carmen, Adam, Eric, Michael, and son in law, Peter Gillette, and her faithful kitty companion Vivian.
She was loved by her 12 great-grandchildren: Gianna, Brianna, Lilianna, Madison, Andrew, Hayden, Michael, Reese, Lucas, Olivia, Frank, Leo and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Robert, her sister-in-law Mary and her grandson, Andrew.
May she rest in peace.
