Karin E. (Farrell) Bourque

Karin E. (Farrell) of Reading, passed away on Thursday November 14th, 2024. She was 58 years of age.

Karin loved her family above all things, and provided all of them with support, understanding, and unconditional love. Her kindness not only applied to her family and friends, but also to perfect strangers. She built the life she dreamed of alongside her husband and children, and loved every moment spent with them. Karin had an artistic soul, which she discovered later in life through painting, sculpting, woodworking, knitting and crocheting. She shared her love for the arts with her children, nieces and nephews, and could always be counted on for a last minute school art project or craft session. 

Karin is the beloved wife of Michael Bourque. She is the cherished mother of Michael Bourque, Jeremy Bourque and Zachary Bourque and his fiancé Serina Reyes. She is the loving daughter of Dennis and Ellen (Trottier) Farrell. Dear sister of Brian and Lynda Farrell, Denise and Stephen Flannery and Doreen Farrell. Devoted aunt of Stephen Flannery, Kasey Dunn and her husband Brian, Dennis Farrell, Jane LaMoore and her husband Josh, Patrick Farrell and Ellie Farrell and great aunt of Cora and Nolan Dunn. 

Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday November 21, 2024 at 9:30 followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Karin's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Wednesday November 20th, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
