Katherine L. (Casey) "Loretta" Cloonan

Katherine L. (Casey) "Loretta" Cloonan of Reading passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was 93 years of age.

Born on February 21, 1925 in Boston, Loretta was the loving daughter of the late Joseph L. Casey and Catherine T. (Connors) Casey. Loretta is a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Loretta was a credit manager for Winchester Hospital for many years. Her true love was for her family. Spending time with loved ones meant everything to her. Her family was first and foremost in her life.

Loretta is the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Cloonan. She is the devoted mother of Michael P. Cloonan and his wife Starr, Joseph E. Cloonan and his wife Donna, Barbara J. Cloonan and her husband Nick Vetrano and Donald J. Cloonan and his wife Barbara W. The cherished grandmother of Christine, Brian, Lisa, Emily and Jill, Loretta is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday, October 1st at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Loretta's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Sunday, September 30th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
