Kathleen E. (English) Bray of Stoneham passed away on Thursday October 7, 2004 at her home in Stoneham. She was 80 years of age.
Born in Malden, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late John P. English and Kathryn (Barnes) English. Kathleen was a devoted and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Kathy was a locally renowned piano instructor. She was involved in numerous community activities and organizations. Kathy was a member of the Stoneham Theatre Guild. She was the past president of the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce, receiving the Citizen of the Year Award in 2001. Kathy was involved with the Friends of the Stoneham Public Library. She actively promoted the Summer Concert Series on Stoneham Town Common, happily participating in the festivities. Kathy was a representative of Columbia Artists of New York.
Kathy had an unconditional love for music and the Community of Stoneham.
Kathy was the beloved wife of David L. Bray. She was the devoted mother of Scott Lang, Pete Lang, John E. "Buck" Lang, and Robert M. Lang. She was the cherished grandmother of Megan Lang and Selina Lang. Kathy was the dear sister of Robert B. English, Joanne English Dockrell, Carolyn English Caci and the late John P. English.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
