Kathleen Rose (Chagaruly) Walsh of Dracut passed away peacefully on November 9 at age 74. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Walsh Jr. Born and raised in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late George and Cornelia (Macheras) Chagaruly.

Kathy attended the Academy of Notre Dame – Tyngsborough and Lowell State College (now UMASS Lowell). She worked extensively in retail before transitioning to the Internal Revenue Service where she worked for over 20 years.

She loved watching her son and grandchildren play youth and high school sports and was a big supporter of the Patriots and Red Sox. Additionally, she fondly recalled attending Boston College football games with her beloved father George. Kathy is survived by her son Thomas Walsh & his wife Stefanie of Reading. She is the cherished grandmother of Matthew and Madeline Walsh. Loving sister to Peter Chagaruly and Roseanne Foley. Cherished sister-in-law of Mary Connor and aunt to Richard Callahan, Shannon Fitzpatrick, Kate Connor, and Sara Ramos. She leaves her dear friend Joyce Corbett, her husband Mark and their sons Matthew, Stephen, and Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org) Visitation will be held at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St and Rte. 28) North Reading on Saturday November 16 from 10-11am. A funeral service will follow immediately after at the funeral home; burial to follow at St Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
