Kathleen M. (Visocchi) DiDonatis

Kathleen M. (Visocchi) DiDonatis of Wakefield passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Meadow View Care and Rehab Center in North Reading. She was 96 years of age.

Born in Boston, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Filomena (Arcieno) Visocchi. Kathleen was a warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Kathleen grew up in Stoneham. She was educated at Stoneham Public Schools and was a graduate of Stoneham High School Class of 1935. Kathleen worked at General Electric in Lynn during WWII and later worked at Transitron Electronics in Wakefield during the 1960's-1970's. She retired from Analog Devices in Wilmington. During her retirement, she enjoyed bowling, sewing and reading.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of Arthur DiDonatis. She was the devoted mother of Arthur DiDonatis, Jr. and his wife Caroline. She was the cherished grandmother of Sarah DiDonatis, Jennifer DiDonatis and Richard DiDonatis. Kathleen was the loving sister of Michael Visocchi, Elsie Pacito, Elinor Valente, Alfreda Buccheri and the late Jenny Visocchi, Evelyn Mazzarella, Betty Morril and Emily Nazzaro.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service celebrating Kathleen's Life on Saturday, April 19 at 11:30 in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, Stoneham. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
