Kathryn L. (Tirrell) FitzPatrick of Reading passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Wingate at Reading Nursing Home in Reading. She was 89 years of age.
Born in Woburn, Kathryn was the daughter of the late James Tirrell and Margaret (McCarthy) Tirrell. Kathryn was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Kathryn was a loyal homemaker for many years. She loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Kathryn loved collecting and antiquing.
Kathryn was the beloved wife of over 60 years to the late James J. FitzPatrick. She was the devoted mother of James J. and his wife Barbara (Doyon) FitzPatrick of Reading, John F. and his wife Brenda (Cornellier) FitzPatrick of Dracut. Kathryn was the cherished grandmother of Kelly, Jenifer, James Jr., Pamela, Edward, Kristen, Thomas, Lori, Jesse, Sean, Michael and Dawn. She was also the loving great grandmother of Liam.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Kathryn's life in St. Anthony's Church, 851 Main St. WOBURN at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 5-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment at 3pm at the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
