Kevin M. Woods

Kevin was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1956. He was the 9th child in a family of 11 children! He graduated from Northeast Metro Regional Vocational School in 1975 where he studied drafting. In 2004, he married Jackie in Maui, Hawaii and settled in Orange County, California. He loved working in the real estate field and eventually became a commercial real estate broker. In 2017 they moved to Bend, Oregon, where he lived the final days of his life.
Kevin could fill a room with his presence - his funny sayings, great stories and wonderful sense of humor. Besides his humor, he was also a very compassionate and loving man. He cherished his family and friends and was often the first one to pick up the phone and call them. He appreciated his Irish roots and always took a moment to "tip a pint" of Guinness on St. Patricks' day! He was a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed watching golf and cooking shows on Tv. He often took his dog "Duke" for a ride in his big red truck, with country music playing on the radio. He enjoyed vacations in Maui and spending weekends on his boat the "Bella Vista" in Long Beach, California with his wife and many friends on Gangway AA. Kevin loved life and never gave up during his 15-year battle with cancer. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Woods, his children, Kevin Woods Jr, Kristopher Woods (Teddra), and Gregory Woods(Rebecca), his step-children, Eric Halbjorhus and Kristin Thelen(Josiah), his 7 grandchildren, Madison Woods, Patrick Woods, Colin Woods, Lindsey Woods, Allison Woods, Kira Thelen and Olive Thelen, his siblings, Ellyn Landers, Trisha Tuscano, and Brian Woods, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Helen Woods, his son Edward Woods and his siblings George Woods, Ronnie Woods, Frank Woods, Jack Woods, Maureen Wade, Wini Grano, and his twin brother, Dan Woods.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday October 12, 2018 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Kevin's Life at 12. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
