Laura (Piccirilli) Medaglia of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away December 7, 2012.
Born in San Giovinno, Italy , Laura was the loving daughter of the late John and Santina (Petrucci) Piccirilli. Laura was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Laura was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Medaglia. She was the devoted mother of Liliana Magee and her husband Paul. Laura was the cherished grandmother of Andrea Magnell and the late Brian Dennis. She was the loving great grandmother of Trenton Magnell. Laura was the dear sister of Joseph Piccirilli, Domenic Piccirilli, Albert Piccirilli and his wife Lorraine, John Piccirilli and his wife Irene and the late Vincent Piccirilli. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Laura's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friend are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Please honor Laura by making donations in her memory to the Epilepsy Foundation, 4351 Garden City Drive, Landover, MD 20785
