Lillian R. (Troisi) Lepore of Woburn, formerly of Medford & The North End passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her home. She was 102 years of age.
Lillian was born in the North End of Boston in 1912. The youngest of six siblings, she worked as a seamstress for many years and then as a homemaker. A dedicated loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Lillian also lived in the West End of Boston, Somerville, Haverhill and many years in Medford. Some of her favorite things were cooking, entertaining and traveling. She enjoyed reminiscing with family, sharing stories that will be remembered and cherished by five generations. Her kindness of spirit, generosity of heart and loving ways will be cherished by many.
Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Lepore. She was the devoted mother of Elaine Spencer and her late husband Robert and the late Linda Lepore. The cherished grandmother of Christine Imbornone, Lillian was the loving great grandmother of Paul Cranfill and his wife Stefanie, Andrew Cranfill and his wife Ashley and Kenneth Sciarappa. She was the adoring great great grandmother of Lillian, Jac, Emma and Staci and the dear sister of the late Palma Bocchino, Edith DiPrizio, Emma LoVuolo, Rose Troisi, Fiore Troisi and John Troisi. Lillian was also survived by her devoted niece and nephew, Theresa Imbornone and Anthony DiPrizio as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Lillian's Eternal Life in St. Raphael Church, 514 High St. Medford at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 3-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
