Linda Jeanne DeMeo

Linda Jeanne DeMeo passed away at her home on 9/15/2022. Linda grew up in Stoneham, Massachusetts, graduating from Stoneham High School in 1970. She went on to graduate from the Hickox Secretarial School and worked as secretary to the President of the Better Business Bureau, while raising her son as a single parent. Linda married Paul DeMeo in 1983, and then gave birth to their first daughter, Holly, and then their second daughter, Heather.

Linda was a strong-willed woman, who survived many health problems, including Breast Cancer in 1995. Linda went on to work with animals, as a receptionist at first Wakefield Animal Hospital, and then at Stoneham Animal Hospital. After her retirement, Linda spent her time taking care of her family, which was the most important thing in her life. She loved when the whole family would get together, and it was when she was her happiest.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Paul DeMeo, her three children, Robert Kelley, Holly Guessefeld, and Heather DeMeo, and her grandchildren, Sean Hayes and Brooke Guessefeld, who became her entire world. Besides her children and grandchildren, Linda is also survived by her brother George Gammon, her sister Sandra Melanson, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Linda’s Family on Wednesday, September 21^st from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street STONEHAM.  A Funeral Service Celebrating Linda’s Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, September 22^nd at 11am in the Funeral Home.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.
