Lois M. (Philpott) Russell

Lois M. (Philpott) Russell of Stoneham, passed away on September 22, 2016 at the age of 85. Lois was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

Lois loved traveling and spending her summers at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. She was never happier then when she was spending time with family and friends.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. Russell. Devoted mother of Thomas F. Russell and his wife Denise, Lynne M. Corrigan and her husband Peter and Maureen E. Spinney and her husband Daniel. Cherished grandmother of Megan, Stephen, Jennifer and Brian Russell, Kathleen and Michael Corrigan, Jason and Derek Spinney. Great grandmother of Mila Spinney. Sister of the late Edward and Richard Philpott, Sister-in-law of Patricia Philpott, Philip McGonagle and Ann Harrington. Lois is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Lois was the dear daughter of Edward Philpott and Estelle (Grindrod) Philpott.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM, Monday, September 26th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Lois's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the family on Sunday, September 25th from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
