Louis A. Maillet

April 28, 1928 — June 22, 2021

Louis A. Maillet, of Somerville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021. He was 93 years of age.

Born in Boston, Louis was the son of the late Alfred and Anne Estelle (Surette) Maillet. Louis was a proud lifelong member of Teamsters Local 25. For many years, Louis volunteered his time to the Teamsters Blood Bank and was recognized for having personally donated over 100 pints of blood to help others in need. He was also a Life Member of the Charlesgate Yacht Club in Cambridge. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Louis is the beloved husband of Theresa (Quinn) Maillet. He is the devoted father of Paul Maillet and his wife Marianne and Mark Maillet and his wife Jean. He is the cherished grandfather of Michael Maillet, Paul Maillet Jr., Brianna Plummer and her husband Michael, Justin Maillet and his wife Monica, and Jennifer Maillet. Loving great grandfather of Patrick, Jake, Cadence, and Henry. Dear brother of Genevieve O'Neill, Leona (Taylor) Deveau, Edward Taylor and the late Alfreda Bergin, Richard Maillet, Benjamin Maillet and Leo Maillet. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friend are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday June 25th, 2021 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 9 am to 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Louis' Eternal Life in the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery 302 Elm St. Everett at 11 am.
