Louise M. (Caci) Doherty of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 80 years of age.
Born on February 18, 1935 in Everett, Louise was the loving daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Fioretti) Caci. Louise was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Louise grew up in Everett and Winchester and attended the prestigious Rogers Hall School in Lowell. She continue to pursue her education and received a bachelor's degree from Lesley College. Louise was very curious about the world and loved to travel. She was also very active and spent much of her time playing golf and bowling. Louise also had an artistic side and could often be found sketching using her favorite medium, charcoal.
Louise was the beloved wife of William J. Doherty. She was the devoted mother of Maureen Doherty and her wife Norma Wells, Sharon Donovan and her husband Timothy, Kathleen Irwin, Elaine Mason and her husband Daniel, Kevin Doherty and Meg Kelly and Paula Picano and her husband Joseph. Louise was the cherished grandmother of John Irwin, Christine Irwin, William Irwin, Matthew Donovan, Mark Donovan, Samantha Mason, Andrew Mason, Brian Mason, Anthony Picano, Marco Picano and Luca Picano. She was the cherished great-grandmother of David James Irwin, Tessa Irwin and Janelle Irwin. Louise was the dear sister of William Caci, Frank Caci and the late Benjamin Caci. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Louise's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
