RUSSO, Louise C. (Poirier) of Somerville, March 8th. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Russo, Sr.  Devoted mother of Michele Smith and her husband Charles, of Derry, NH, Anne Marie Brotman and her late husband Marc of Derry, NH, Angelo Russo and his wife Marie of Everett, Joseph Russo and his wife Pauline of Medway and the late Anthony Russo, who left this earth during infancy. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother to numerous grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph and Paul Poirier and many family members and friends.

In her time, she was an avid bowler, enjoyed ceramics, quilting, video games, travel with the Jolly Elders, and was always ready for a fierce game of cribbage.

Louise was a woman of unwavering faith in the Lord, who consistently saw the good in others, and took very seriously her Christian ideals. Over the years, she enjoyed serving her fellow parishioners through various positions at St. Benedict Parish.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Saturday, March 14th from 9 to 10:15 AM at Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park Street, NORTH READING, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral mass at St. Benedict Parish, 21 Hathorn Street, SOMERVILLE, and concluding with a burial service at St. Michael's Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, BOSTON. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Benedict Parish.
