Lucille M. Lyons, 76, of Stoneham, beloved wife of the late John Lyons, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at her home. Born in Cambridge, she is the daughter of the late Elphege and Alice (Proulx) Hamel.
Lucille grew up in Cambridge and moved to Malden with her husband John to raise their family. For many years, she worked at Century Bank, retiring as a benefit administrator. Lucille was extremely generous and made sure to make donations to help various charities. She was an avid reader, but her greatest joy came from her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will truly be missed by her loving family.
Lucille is the devoted mother of Derek Lyons and his wife Amy, John Lyons and his wife Lisa and Andrea Lyons. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Kristiana, Zoe and Maxwell Lyons. Loving sister of Pauline Tracy and aunt to nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Lucille's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, December 7th, 2020 at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Lucille's Family at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St., Stoneham on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 from 2 to 6pm. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
Due to Massachusetts regulations regarding Covid 19, face masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home and 40% capacity is allowed inside at one time.
