Luisa Marino, formerly of Cambridge and Chieti, Italy, passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.

Born and raised in Chieti, she is the beloved daughter of the late Luigi and Laura (DiNisio) Marino.  Luisa was a smart and dedicated professor while living in Italy.  In 2000, she decided to come to America, settling in Cambridge to help her brother in his restaurant, Marino's in Cambridge.

Luisa was a proud and active member of the Dante Alighieri Society of Massachusetts in Cambridge.  She was a lover of theater, acting, a talented artist and was extremely creative.  She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her loving family.

Loving wife of the late Joe Murinko.  Cherished sister of Leci DiLabio and the late Lelio Marino, Luciano Marino, Lina DiPaolo and Lorenzo Marino.  Beloved sister-in-law of Anna Maria Marino, loving aunt to many nieces, nephew and dear friend to many.

Family and friends are cordially invited to A Funeral Mass, celebrating Luisa at St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading, on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 at 10:30am.

Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

There are no visiting hours.
