Lynn Ann (Derby) Collins

Lynn Ann (Derby) Collins of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 26, 2026. She is 66 years of age.

Born on Monday, October 19, 1959 in East Boston, Lynn is the loving daughter of the late Walter Derby and Elisa (Barone) Derby. Lynn is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, sister-in-law and best friend who will be deeply missed.

Lynn is a proud graduate of Revere High School. She was a dedicated analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years until her retirement. In recent years, Lynn was a fixture in the Stoneham Central Middle School cafeteria.  She brought humor, patience, and boundaries to the students at lunch. Many students were close with Lynn, talking, joking, and interacting with her regularly.

Lynn is the beloved wife of Robert J. Collins. She is the devoted mother of Bobby Collins. The dear sister of Louis Derby and his wife Maria, Lynn is the caring sister-in-law of Linda Cannon, Anne Elliot and her husband Jim. She is the loyal best friend of Sharon Russo.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Lynn’s Family on Friday, February 6th from 9am – 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Lynn’s Eternal Life will be held on Friday, February 6th at 12pm in the Funeral Home.
