Mabel A. (Roth) Surette

Mabel A. (Roth) Surette formerly of Reading and Wakefield passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was 95 years of age.

Born on May 10, 1925 in Royalston, Massachusetts, Mabel is the loving daughter of the late Harry C. Roth and Jennie (Koford) Roth. Mabel is a warm and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be truly missed.

Mabel was a dedicated homemaker for many years. She loved spending time with her family and raising her children. Mabel enjoyed watching her children become parents and raising her grandchildren and subsequently her great grandchildren.

Mabel is the beloved mother of Peter Surette, Thomas Surette and his wife Cindy, Charles Surette and his wife Marina, Susan DeNisco and the late Joseph Surette Jr. The cherished grandmother of Thomas Jr. and his wife Katie, Brian, Ashley, Francesca, & Josie, she is the doting great-grandmother of Ronin, Davy, Micah, Nova & Eloise. Mabel is the former wife of Joseph G. Surette.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Mabel's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, February 26th at 12:30pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Mabel's Family prior to the Service beginning at 10:30am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Due to state regulations for Covid-19, a mask is required while in the funeral home and we are not allowed to have more than 40% capacity in the funeral home at one time.
