Madeline T. (Lang) Gillespie of Reading formerly of Charlestown, March 10, 2012 at age 84. Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Gillespie. Devoted mother of Dennis and his wife Wendy, Madeline Polcari and her husband John, Walter, Jr. and his wife Gail, Gerard and his wife Denise, James and his late wife Janet, Robert and his wife Dawn and Craig and his wife Lorna. Cherished grandmother of Kelly Ricci and her husband Joseph, Meghan Gillespie, John David Polcari, John, Christine, Allison, Elizabeth, Thomas, Ryan, Courtlyn, Justin Gillespie, Kathryn Severson and her husband Erik, Madeline, Drew Gillespie and the late Theresa Polcari. Great grandmother of Joseph Ricci. Loving sister of Marjorie Pothier and her husband Bernard, Walter Lang and his late wife Anne, Robert Lang and his wife Louise, Peggy McGilvray and her late husband Michael and Louise Healy and her husband Joseph. Dear daughter of the late Walter E. and Madeline G. (Treinor) Lang.



A Funeral Mass Celebrating Madeline's Eternal Life will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family prior to the Mass beginning at 9:00 am in the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., READING. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.
